Very excited to be starting on a new tile project … designing & making tile pictures with all my favourite tile images from over the many years I have been lucky enough to be handpainting tiles !
As much as I love working alongside customers to design & paint custom made tiles just for them , I wanted to create some art tile ‘ paintings ‘ that feature the animals & plants that always have always inspired me – particularly focusing on their beautiful patterns, colours & textures that their feathers, scales & colours provide.
I believe the unique, glossy & bright colours of the Persian glazes I have worked with over many years are perfect to try & represent this on wall tiles & will hopefully bring a stunning & dramatic , one- off tile mural that is a like a painting, yet part of a kitchen or bathroom backsplash .
Just starting to design some tile sketches with all the ideas I have for these hopefully very special tiles 🙂
