Stunning decorative Elephant tile splashback mural !
Oooh , we really enjoyed creating these very unique tile designs …
The customer loved African animals particularly Elephants , Giraffes & Monkeys & wanted some new art tiles to take centre stage in her new kitchen as a tile splashback behind her cooker.
The customer provided an image of a Elephant for a three by three 15x15cm hand decorated tile mural backsplash.
To create the random blocks of colour she wanted , we overlaid & layered our Persian glazes which also provided interest & depth to the design. We used mainly Ultramarine & Turquoise glazes as a base with Pale Blue, Acid Greens , Creams & Red to create accents of colour to really lift the tile design.
It was a different way of hand painting my Persian glazes but it works really well .
Delighted to say the customer is also very happy with her artisan tiles 🙂
