We constantly look at how we can be as sustainable as possible in the way we work & create our tiles – not just at the start of a new year but throughout the year.
This includes using up-cycled packaging , using UK suppliers & of course , using our own produced renewable energy to heat the Treehouse studio & fire the kiln !
Our studio is part of our home & was featured on Channel 4’s Grand Designs TV programme – we hand decorate all our ceramic tiles here & create from scratch our unique Persian glazes in the kiln room & glaze room .
The final process is to seal all our crackle glaze tiles which means that they are all suitable for any wall in a bathroom or kitchen including basin splashbacks , kitchen backsplashs & even on an outside patio wall !
We are very lucky to be able handpaint our picture tiles & tile murals looking out over the trees that surround our Treehouse studio.
