New glaze effects 🙂
Ever noticed how beautiful the common Pigeon’s feathers are ?
Whilst sketching some of their feathers , I was inspired to try & create the slightly shimmering effect by layering some of our Persian glazes … and created a new glaze colour Mauve by happy mistake !
We have spent many years making & experimenting with our own glazes in our Cotswold tile studio – creating highly specialized , beautiful colours for our hand decorated art tiles.
This means that our artisan tiles have a very unique look with a lovely crackle finish & deep , rich & glossy colours that are rarely seen on other tiles as they are quite tricky to use !
