I really want to say Pick up a Penguin but I’ll try & stop myself …
Loved creating these marching Penguins & really enjoyed designing movement & character into these much loved birds 
Penguins have a wonderful bold shape that translates beautifully as a tile design & especially as a handpainted tile panel that would look stunning as a bathroom backsplash perhaps behind a basin.
Or use them as a kitchen tile backsplash behind a range cooker to give a real focal point to any kitchen.
I layered our unique Persian glazes of Turquoise , Ultramarine & Jade to create their dark backs & yellows, creams for their tummies & of course , reds & oranges to give them that wonderful accent of colour on their beaks & throat.
I love creating Bird tiles – one of our latest Bird tile designs is a delicate little Wren , so cute !
Other available artisan made Bird tiles include Goldfinches ,cheeky Sparrows & other much loved garden birds.
