Latest beautiful bird art tile special commission !
Delighted to be able to show a very special project we’ve been working on recently – a 6 tile Lapwing tile mural & 2 individual Lapwing picture tiles , all on 20x20cm tiles.
Hand painted layers of our unique Persian glazes…
We carefully hand decorate all our tiles & tile panels – this bespoke tile design took extra time as we were keen to try & re-create the iridescent colours of the Lapwing wings .
We used Bottle greens, Acid greens , Ultramarine with highlights of red & then at the second glazing stage , over painted with more glaze colours 🌈
Our hand made tiles are perfect for so many areas in your home – they make a wonderful focal point to a kitchen as a tiled backsplash .
