Each bird tile begins as an original hand-drawn design before being carefully handpainted onto a bisc tile.
The collection includes a variety of birds and compositions — from still, perched forms to more flowing designs that suggest movement and life. The tiles are intended to work naturally together, allowing you to create a layout that feels unique to your home.
No two arrangements look exactly the same.
Made by Hand
Every bird tile is handmade in small batches using layered Persian glazes that create depth, softness and subtle tonal variation.
The tiles are carefully created in my Cotswold studio, creating a collection of British-made ceramic tiles inspired by birds and the natural world.
The glazing process gives each tile a richness that changes gently with the light. Slight differences between pieces are part of their character and reflect the handmade nature of the work.
The result is decorative, durable and quietly expressive.
Featured in distinctive interior projects
The Treehouse project, featured on Grand Designs, brought together my passion for design, craftsmanship and the natural world. As well as creating the handmade tiles used throughout the interiors, I was closely involved in the creation of the project itself.
The result was a unique home where architecture, landscape and handmade ceramics worked together to create something truly distinctive.
Both my Treehouse home and the tiles I create are inspired by a love of ecology and the natural world that surrounds us.
