Looking back to some of our favourite custom made Bird tile commissions of 2024 – we really enjoyed creating this bespoke order of Lapwings 
The customer wanted a 6 tile mural featuring a small flock & 2 individual decorative tiles featuring individual birds.
The tile mural is to be framed & hung up like a painting but we think it would also look lovely in a kitchen as a hand made tile backsplash behind a range cooker .
Or perhaps behind a bathroom basin as a gorgeous tile splashback – that would be a real focal point !
We wanted to try & re-create the beautiful iridescent feathers & a sense of their personality & behaviour – very happy to say the cusomer was delighted with them !
Last year , we also created other hand painted bespoke Bird tiles including a single picture tile of a Magpie Lark for a customer in Australia & added another best selling Wren hanging tile design to our Etsy shop .
