We love creating decorative , hand made tile commissions for our lovely customers & this year has definately been the Year of the Bird !
We’ve created some large bespoke tile orders which are great & also , small but perfectly formed orders such as this latest one of an Australian Magpie Lark .
This type of bird is a favourite of the customer in Australia as they visit his garden regularly & he wanted to celebrate them with a one off special tile commission.
He requested that the bird tile design be hand painted across two 20x20cms metro tiles & he will frame them to create a hanging piece of tile art !
It’s wonderful to be able to handmake some tile art with such a story behind a bespoke tile commission , we are very happy to work on one tile upwards !
Other single decorative tile designs that we’ve recently created are a much loved Horse, a Spitfire aeroplane & a Doberman puppy 🙂
